This is the winner of the Jorgen “Lefty” Holand award for the Delaware County Municipal Police Academy, Classes #136 & #137. His name is Eric Coates. At the Academy Graduation on 12/19/12, he received a plaque and a $1500 scholarship from the Holand family in Lefty’s name. Lefty was an Firearm’s instructor at the Academy and Hero on our Memorial Wall. He is standing with (left to right) Nelly Kennard (Lefty’s sister), Mary Holand (Lefty’s wife), and our President, Sergeant Jim Reardon (who worked with Lefty at Upper Chichester Twp. PD). DCLEMF has just obtained 50 tickets to the Phantom’s Hockey Game on 02/22/13 @ 7pm. The seat location is Club Box 23, which is near center ice. The cost of the tickets are $30.
